Being an overthinker is like being drunk while trying to stick to a goal. Perhaps some people enjoy being immersed in a profound pit of negative thoughts, but others may not. When someone intentionally overplans and tries to do multiple things at once, they become more entangled with negativity. They may pretend to be still and serene, but they actually feel suffocated and thoroughly burnt out.
Instead, one must slow down and understand what they want. More often than not, we adhere to people's opinions that life is hard and we must make difficult decisions to achieve our dreams. However, life can be easy if we learn to simplify it rather than overload ourselves. There is a saying, "fake it till you make it," but this can actually stifle our originality and cause us to try to become someone who isn't truly ourselves or a part of our soul. This saying doesn't always apply in every context.
But look! You don't need to become lazy or take things for granted. Find yourself where you stand, make an effort to improve your condition a little, and it won't happen overnight. It might take several days. Start small. Remember, less is more, but do it purposefully. Keep in mind that there is no medication for overthinking, but what you can do is bless yourself with gratitude and hopefulness.
